In early September, we were contacted by a gentleman from South New Jersey who wanted to sell his entire baseball card and memorabilia collection. The collection consisted of vintage card sets, yearbooks, programs, Super Bowl tickets, World Series tickets, autographed baseballs, and some rare autographed cuts. And when I say vintage sets, it wasn’t just a few sets from the late 1970s. It was dozens of sets, ranging  from the 1930s through the 1970s, of all sports. You name it, he had it… it was one of the nicest collections we’ve ever

How did you build your vintage card collection?  Did you buy packs and build sets?  Most youngsters that grew up before the new millennium remember buying packs, chewing the gum (yes, they put gum in the packs with the cards) and trading with their friends.  There wasn’t an Internet or eBay or even that many card shows or conventions.  Recently, we were contacted by a gentleman who found us through our JustCollect.com website on the Internet. He was interested in selling his 1958 Topps Baseball Collection to us and how he assembled his

It just seemed easy because our buying process is honest, straightforward, and seamless. It seemed easy because we got a lead through our website. But it took years to develop a user-friendly

1956 Topps Mickey MantleYesterday was a great day, as we were able to purchase a really sharp group of 1956 Topps baseball cards, from a seller out in Minnesota. He contacted us two weeks ago, wanting to know the value of his cards, and was also curious about the selling process. He wasn't 100% sure if he was going to sell, but he was just putting some “feelers” out there. The cards have been in his family for a few generations, as they were passed down from his father's uncle, to his father, and finally

Group Of Vintage Sets Purchased From New York Family

Vintage sets? Yes, please! Earlier this week, we hit a home run when a gentleman from Brooklyn contacted us about his family's baseball card collection. The collection consisted of complete sets ranging from the mid 1960s to the present. We had the most interest in the vintage sets, but wanted to take a look at everything. We consider "vintage" to be cards produced before 1980. Those sets will hold the most value, as the more modern sets were overproduced, causing an excess in supply, with not enough demand. After a few emails
